We bring together what belongs together

We increase the awareness of destinations in the German-speaking countries and offer event planners the opportunity to not only learn about venues, hotels and event service providers, but also get to know them in person.

Our formation

In May 2013, we went online with our web portal www.event-destinations.com and the first events take pace in June 2013. But we are not new to this business and our team has been working together on other projects since early 2010, such as the MEET BERLIN and MEET MUNICH networks and events.

Our suppliers

The suppliers of our network are companies that offer their services or event spaces for external events. These include venues, hotels, restaurants, caterers, event designers, staff and transportation providers, artists and many more. Together, we provide event managers, who organise events in German-speaking countries, an information and contact platform.

Our Members

Our members are professional event managers and individuals who are looking for event facilities. Together with our suppliers, we offer both target groups a wealth of information, so that everyone can find a suitable service for their individual event.

 

Anne Hahn, ’the Ideas generator’

Anne is the founder and owner of Event Destinations. Even today, she is the one who constantly has new ideas for exciting projects.

She has been working for 10 years in the event industry in Berlin and has become an integral part of it. In her many years of experience in the event industry she has built up a versatile network which she regularly invites to join in with her "Poker 4 Charity".

Through her sympathetic and open way she always manages to convince not only her own team, but also everyone else of her ideas and concepts.

Simke Leifert, ’the determined’

Simke studied Applied Leisure Science in Bremen and has been in our team since early 2011. She played a major role in the realization of the ‘Destination Road Show’ event format.

Through her reliable and open way she manages to master any situation and to keep a cool head - which she not only proves in dealing with colleagues and customers, but also after work at the foosball table in her favorite bar.

Her areas of responsibility:

  • Online communication
  • Head of the Munich location.
  • Planning and realisation of the Destination Road Show

 

Deborah Gensler, the globetrotter 

Deborah, the most recent team member of Event Destinations, studied Tourism Business Administration. Through her love of adventure and the prospect of new opportunities in far off lands, she gained her experience in the premium hotel sector in England, France, Switzerland and China. Back in Berlin, she discovered her passion for event management.  

Thanks to her creative talent and commitment to see a job from start to finish, she realised many successful corporate events on an international level. Currently, she strengthen the image of Event Destinations on the UK market.
