Salzburg

There are Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the Salzburg Festival, the Baroque old town, the myth of Sound of Music and many famous personalities who have helped Salzburg to be renown all around the world. Now as then, the city is a genuine longing for music lovers and romantics.

Salzburg, Austria

With Salzburg Congress you are right in the center of Salzburg – the city of Mozart. Taking a look out of the panorama windows, you can see the Mirabell castle with its world famous gardens, the Mönchsberg with the Museum der Moderne and the roofs of the old town, which is part of the UNESCO World Heritage since 1997. About five minutes walk away you can find the Salzach and after another five minutes you reach the Getreidegasse, Mozart’s birthplace. In this street you can visit the cathedral square, the Salzburg ‘Residenz’ Palace, numerous places for sauntering and shopping as well as the traditional cafes.

Although Salzburg is a relatively young Austrian destination on the MICE market, it already enjoys a good reputation far beyond the boundaries of Austria. The accessibility and clarity of the city, the central location of the Modern House and the safety in the state Salzburg could already convince many event organisers.
