Upon entering the expansive and impressive foyer, the visitor is immediately greeted by a striking fusion of glass and steel radiating timeless modernity. Within a very short time, the Musical Dome was able to establish itself as a permanent fixture in Cologne’s
cultural life. That is reflected not least of all by the fact that the Cologne Opera has temporarily relocated to it during the renovation of the opera house.

The Musical Dome restaurant
The Musical Dome Restaurant, located on the ground floor, seats 80 and offers culinary highlights from finger food to multi-course dinners. The kitchen has the capacity to prepare buffets for up to 1,600 people for conventions, award ceremonies, or wholehouse events.

The Foyer with Gallery and Balconies
The foyer’s 2,000 square meters span three floors. The two large stairways lead to the first upper floor with its spaciously designed bars. Here one can enjoy the extraordinary atmosphere of the impressively and tastefully designed foyer. The large main bar can be found in the middle foyer, which offers a view of the dance floor opposite and a fantastic panorama of the Rhine. The outside stairs lead into the gallery on the first upper floor that connects the two side balconies. Each balcony is furnished with a bar with seating
accommodations and bar tables, offering 150 square meters of space for up to 150 people.

The auditorium
The auditorium seats 1,640 and its semi-circular design with its gently ascending tiers and comfortable, offset seating allows an unobstructed view from all sides of the 250 square meter main stage. A variety of options for covering the orchestra pit and
arranging stairs, an experienced technical staff, and  high-performance stage equipment ensure that your event will be expertly staged. The perfect place for glamorous award
